Medical Botox

(e.g., for Migraines, Bruxism, Hyperhidrosis)

Medical Botox is used to manage conditions such as chronic migraines, teeth grinding (bruxism), and excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) by relaxing overactive muscles or nerve activity. Relief typically appears within 1–2 weeks and can last up to 4–6 months.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Muscle or nerve disorders

  • Allergy to botulinum toxin

  • Ongoing infection at the treatment site

Procedure:

The treatment is tailored to the medical condition. For migraines or bruxism, multiple small injections are administered in the forehead, temples, jaw, or neck. For hyperhidrosis, Botox is injected superficially into the underarms, palms, or soles. The procedure lasts 15–30 minutes and requires no downtime.

Aftercare:

  • Avoid applying pressure to the treated area for 4–6 hours

  • Refrain from exercise, sauna, or heat exposure for 24 hours

  • You may return to daily activities immediately

  • Follow-up assessment may be scheduled in 2–3 weeks
