Chronic Migraines – Lasting Relief Without Daily Medication

As a Botox injector, I have had the privilege of treating many patients who suffer from chronic migraines, those debilitating headaches that occur more than 10 days per month. For these patients the impact on daily life, work, and social activities can be profound.

Botox has become a powerful, evidence-based solution for such cases. In our clinic, we advise to have regular treatments throughout the year, approximately every 4 months. The procedure involves a series of small injections in specific points across the forehead, temples, back of the head, neck, and shoulders, especially those areas often associated with tension and migraine origin.

We begin with gentle skin disinfection; no numbing cream is necessary, as the injections are quick and well-tolerated by most patients. The entire procedure takes about 10–15 minutes, and many clients return to work immediately afterward. One of my patients recently shared that for the first time in years, she experienced a full week migraine-free, something she had never thought possible.

Botox does not just mask the pain; it works by relaxing the muscles that contribute to migraines and by interrupting pain transmission. The effects build over time, offering long-term improvement and reducing the need for daily medications.
